1. Do they have to be a produced to the standard of a Technical Standard Order? ANSWER: To be eligible for installation on a U.S. registered aircraft, they must have some type of production approval. TSO’s are one such approval. Can they be imported from foreign countries into U.S? ANSWER: Yes. 3. Can electronic devices can be imported and used in light sport aircraft if the light sport aircraft manufacturer includes these items in their certification? ANSWER: Yes. |
